On the occasion of the Tenth anniversary of the company since its release on Bulgarian market, we organized for the first time an Open Doors event and demonstrated a wide range of packaging machines and consumables.
Lavena approached Tallpack Bulgaria for an industrial packaging solution for their fully-automatic production lines for baby wet wipes.
Until now, the individual packages were packed into boxes manually and then palletized manually. In order to meet the continuously-increasing demand, it was necessary to expand the production process up to 7 lines. The production speed of the individual lines had to be increased as well.
But how do you connect a fully automatic packaging process to all this, when these production lines switch between themselves all the time, during the day, and the "hands" can no longer cope with the speed?

Successful FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) is completed for four Tallwrapper machines with rotating arm, designed and made upon individual requirements. Our customer is international logistic service provider and the pallets should be wrapped in very different heights and widths.
The Tallwrappers are produced in-house at Tallpack premises at the Netherlands and we take on customer-specific wishes immediately.
Standard construction has been adapted for this special case so that desired pallet dimensions and wrapping speed are achieved. Safe and damage-free (internal) transport is guaranteed for this customer at the most optimal cost price per wrapped pallet.

It is still a big challenge to palletize pallets with stacks of crates, cartoons, kegs or boxes in accordance with EUMOS 40509 guidelines. Very often it happens that heights, weight, stability or production speed or pallet or package can vary. Moreover, more and more companies are trying to reduce the amount of plastic and it is certainly worth to consider strapping as a packaging method. You can stabilize the large stacks of crates, boxes, barrels or boxes only with a few straps.
Manual strapping may no longer be preferred for several reasons such as big numbers of pallets, ergonomics, safety and speed of packaging. On the other hand, strapping by fully automatic line may not be necessary or feasible due to overcapacity, multiple packaging locations, internal transport placements or required investment.
In response to these considerations Tallpack has specially developed the Silverline strapping machines for this purpose with a favorable priced horizontal and vertical application and with fully automatic, semi-automatic or manual operation.
Printed strap instead of “security tape”
In the logistics sector, “security tape” is often used to seal the pallet packaging. The “security tape” can be replaced with (un)printed straps.
